About us The Lankaran Branch of the Baku Business Training Center established its operation in November of 2006 under the name of “Lankaran Regional Business Training Center.” At that time, it was an independent Business Centre under the guidance of one of the entities of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Republic, the Baku Business Training Center. Six regional branches of the Center were established with the intention to expand and improve the outreach of the Baku Business Training Center. The underlying aim for establishing the Center was to support the “State Program for Social-Economic Development of the regions of Azerbaijan Republic,” with financial assistance from German Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
